We are a team that specializes in polymer research at the University of Waterloo. Our overarching goal is to leverage polymer research for sustainability solutions (PReSS), including sustainable polymers and polymers for batteries.
We are passionate about bringing molecular insights into solutions for societal challenges.

Lab renovation half completed!
We're excited that one of our lab rooms is completely renovated! We spent an entire week moving and cleaning – great teamwork! We're enjoying the new lab and office space.

Lauren joined the lab!
We are excited to have Lauren joining the team this term (Jan 7th, 2025)!
Lauren spent more than a year as an intern at ARLANXEO during her undergraduate studies at Western Ontario and decided to focus on polymer sustainability after her graduation.

Welcome on board, Zhenghao (Jay)!
The LinAB welcomes Zhenghao (Jay) joining the team as a postdoc. After spending 4 years with Dr. Kevin Edgar working on biobased water-soluble polymers, Zhenghao decided to further expand his interest to non-water-soluble polymers.
